Mobile has a variety of dishes for its residents and visitors to try! With so many unique restaurants and flavors, it is hard to choose the best one to recommend for those looking to branch out. Here are a few of my favorite local restaurants that offer something for everyone:
NoJa
Known for their delicious MediterAsian dishes and lively atmosphere, NoJa has shaken up the taste buds of the residents in Mobile. Due to COVID-19, NoJa’s menu has been changing monthly, but that does not affect the love they put into each dish. It is no surprise NoJa has served household names including Robert De Niro, KJ Apa and Vince Gill! Pro tip: Request to sit in the courtyard (you will not be disappointed). They only accept reservations and have limited seating available. Call them at 251-433-0377 to make a reservation, and check out their website to view their monthly menu!
Roma Cafe
Roma Cafe has quickly become THE Italian restaurant in Mobile! With a variety of pasta, salads, sandwiches, and most importantly— desserts. Roma Cafe has something for everyone to enjoy. Supported with fresh ingredients, friendly staff and amazing atmosphere, it is no surprise everyone is raving about Roma Cafe! Next time you are craving Italian food, be sure to check them out on Airport Boulevard!
Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill
Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill combines the flavors of Louisiana with locally sourced seafood! Located in Daphne, Boudreaux’s has a gorgeous view of Mobile Bay, which when paired with their authentic cajun food, captures the hearts of many. Whether you wish to sit on the porch and enjoy the breeze or watch the sunset from the bar, you will be wowed either way. Be sure to check their website and social media to catch dates for live performances!
Ashland Midtown Pub
Located in the Ashland historic district, Ashland Midtown Pub prides itself on quality Italian cuisine and brunch! With a large selection of gourmet pizza, po-boys, calzones and more specialties, it is easy to find something for everyone. Their brunch space fills up quickly, so it is important to make a reservation in advance. In fact, their brunch is so delicious it was named the best brunch in Alabama! Their calm, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for friends and family to enjoy, so be sure to check it out and experience what the rest of Alabama is talking about!
These restaurants and so many more provide delicious dishes for Mobilans daily, and we could not be more thankful for them! If you have not tried these restaurants, then we highly suggest them, but in the meantime, be on the lookout for more restaurants to add to the list.
