Due to the pandemic, many stores and restaurants had to close their doors for a little over a month, but we are happy to announce that these places are officially reopening! You will now be able to shop and dine again from somewhere other than your home. This is great news for local businesses, as many suffered when they were forced to close their doors. Here are just a few of the local businesses that have reopened!
Crimson Blue is a boutique located in West Mobile. They are locally owned and sell women’s clothing and accessories with a variety of shapes and styles in mind! The idea for the store was created when the owners wanted clothing they could wear to work, cheer for their favorite team and go out on the town. Regardless of what team you cheer for, the ladies at Crimson Blue definitely have something for you, and they currently have grand reopening sales going on, so be sure to check them out!

They are always running special deals and constantly have new products coming in. If you are still social distancing, they have a website where you can shop from as well!
Mobile Records is a classic music store that has been locally owned since 2012. They have been the one-stop shop for vinyl records, cassettes and CDs, and were devastated when they had to close for two months due to the virus. Now they are back and ready to once again offer you a wide variety of music! Their main room is not currently open, but they are having a sale in the front of the shop next door. The best part about their reopening sale is that they have over 3,000 records available for $1! Plus they are adding more everyday, so if you are interested you should definitely stop by and see what you can find!
Domke Market has officially reopened the inside of their store! During the quarantine they partnered up with local restaurants to do curbside brunch, but now you can once again enter the store to pick out your favorite spirits, glassware, tasting boards and other items! They have opened their dining area as well, so customers can call and reserve a table if they wish to dine inside, but seating is limited due to social distancing guidelines. They also plan to host special events for as long as they can, so be sure to stay updated through their facebook page!
Marcie N Me is a boutique located at Cottage Hill Road and Leroy Stevens. They sell gifts, clothes, household items and anything else you can think of! They are currently limiting how many customers can go in the store at once, but offer curbside pickup and delivery if you order online. If you are lucky, you might even catch the Yellow Hammer coffee truck outside!
Joe’s Pizza and Pasta is located on Airport and is widely known for their authentic Italian pizza. They have been voted as one of the best pizza places in Mobile, and as soon as they reopened after their two month break they had a two hour wait! Supporting these local businesses is very important right now, as many suffered and were forced to close due to stay at home orders. We are very excited to see all of them reopening and hope they will be able to stay open for a long time! We hope everyone is still remaining safe as everything reopens!
