Mother’s Day Evening Garden Concert

Make Mother’s Day extra special with a visit to Bellingrath Gardens and Home for the Mother’s Day Evening Garden Concert. The gorgeous scenery of Live Oak Plaza will be the backdrop as the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra performs classical music during the late afternoon event. Attendees are welcomed to bring their own lawn chairs as well as a picnic dinner. A limited number of tables and chairs are available to rent for the event. Live Oak Plaza will have beverages and snacks available to buy.

Mother’s Day Cruises on the Perdido Queen

Show mom a view of Mobile she has never seen before! The Perdido Queen Paddlewheel Dining Cruise will offer many sailing options for Mother’s Day weekend. Take mom out on the water for a catered meal, music, drinks and beautiful views of the Mobile Waterway. On May 11th, there will be a lunch and a sunset dinner cruise while on May 12th, there will be a Jazz Brunch and another sunset dinner.  

Makers’ Market at Sip and Shop

What mom doesn’t like cruising the aisles of an antique shop? If you two share a passion for all things vintage, then spend the evening in Midtown on May 9th, at Antique Emporium’s Sip and Shop. There will be food, drinks, door prizes, local artists and craft vendors displaying their work. Don’t forget about the antiques! The shop will be open for guests to check out the antique and vintage vendors inside.

Oakleigh Belle Tea Party

Visit historic Oakleigh on May 11th, for the Oakleigh Bells Mother’s Day Tea Party. A fun day full of activities is planned including teas and treats, a hat contest, a raffle, tours of the Oakleigh House Museum and more. Tickets to the event are only $25 and children ages 10 and under will be admitted free. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Historic Mobile Preservation Society and the Oakleigh House Museum.

Dauphin’s Mother’s Day Brunch

If a brunch and a beautiful view sound perfect, then take mom to Dauphin’s this Mother’s Day for an exceptional meal with a captivating view of the Mobile Bay. All of Dauphin’s delicious brunch delights will be served including Bananas Foster French Toast, Chicken and Waffles, and Alabama Gulf Shrimp and Grits.
