Projected to open in early 2019, The Fort Container Park in Spanish Fort will have something for everyone. This entertainment hotspot will be constructed of strategically placed repurposed shipping containers, each home to a different restaurant or bar. Yabba’s Wacky Snack Shack – Foley
The proprietors of Yabba’s Wacky Snack Shack in Gulf Shores have opened a second location closer to shore in Foley. Those with a sweet tooth will love the extensive candy selection as well as the shop’s milkshake and ice cream options.
Everyone loves a good biscuit, and the Maple Street Biscuit Company doesn’t disappoint. Opening soon on Old Shell Road, the restaurant will offer a wide variety of savory and sweet biscuits, breakfast and salad options (in case you are still following through on those resolutions). Mobile can add one more brewpub to its list with the opening of Iron Hand Brewery located in the historic De Toni Square neighborhood. The menu is full of delicious pub fare and is designed to complement the brews.
Taco Mama’s newest spot is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy freshly made tacos and a margarita (or two…or just go ahead and make it three). With locations throughout Birmingham, the owners have graced Midtown Mobile with one of its own in an open-air former garage building (perfect for those summer days). The eclectic menu features tacos, burritos, nachos, and those oh-so-delicious margaritas.
What was once known as Windmill Market, has been renovated and revamped into a new eatery and entertainment venue in downtown Fairhope. The Mill offers visitor amazing food options as well as beer and ice cream. Spend the day in the modernized picnic spot or watch your favorite team play on the TVs in the updated dining hall.
Mobile’s first coffee shop on wheels is running full steam with its first brick and mortar store on Dauphin Street. Stop by the distinctly painted dark gray and yellow building for your daily coffee fix. Can’t make it to the new location?
