The New Year is usually celebrated with fireworks, confetti and… MoonPie? Yes, not only do we throw this delicious treat from parade floats but we also drop it from a building on New Year’s Eve. Well, a 12-foot tall, 600 pound electronic version that hangs from the RSA Trustmark building in downtown Mobile. Revelers can grab a slice of the world’s largest MoonPie and enjoy the music of the second-line parades. Sister Sledge will serve as this year’s headliner for the event.
