With that said, here are five Mobilians you definitely need to know.

Missy Guitterrez

Peak Alkalinity LLC

Missy holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, was VP of a major Fortune 68 company and is now the founder and co-owner of Peak Alkalinity. She is the true definition of practicing what she preaches. Missy is a very healthy and active person. She is a former collegiate athlete, two-time gold medal junior Olympian, and holder of ten AAU medals in Shotokan Karate. After battling her own health issues and following both Western and Eastern medicine, Missy became a true believer in drinking ph balanced alkaline water to add more oxygen to her blood to increase energy, lower stress, boost metabolism, fight disease, and improve her overall well-being.  And now, she wants to help her community discover this life-changing secret.  Be sure to check her out in Fairhope, where she offers an array of detoxifying treatments. Before moving to Mobile and bringing Access Magazine to life, she was an Editor at Teen People, Fashion Director for UsWeekly Magazine, and the Executive Editor for InStyle Magazine. Hummingbird Ideas Inc.

Tim is the Creative Director and Partner at Hummingbird Ideas. He has a Bachelor of Communications and Advertising degree from the University of Alabama.  Then, he received his Master’s degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior to starting Hummingbird Ideas, Tim was the Art Director for The Crimson White, and then the Art Director for MDI Media Group. Tim is married to the lovely Elisha, and they have two children together.

Josh Woods

Executive Director for The Grounds

Josh is a native Mobilian and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Mitchell College of Business at University of South Alabama. He has spent nearly a decade in the banking industry prior to becoming the Executive Director for The Grounds in Mobile. When he’s not enjoying golf in his spare time, Josh is very active in his community as he is part of the Mobile County Young Republicans, Mobile Jaycees, Young Republican Federation of Alabama, Republican Executive Committee, and Greater Gulf State Fair.  He and his wife, Kristen, have one son together.

Mary Yarber-Quinnelly

Bereavement Specialist at Ascension Funeral Group

Mary has been the rock providing emotional support to the Mobile community for a number of years. Not only is she the Bereavement Specialist at Ascension Funeral Group, she serves as Board of Directors for Widowed Persons of Greater Mobile, a support group she established over twenty years ago. It takes a very special person to minister to others on their journey through grief, and Mary is just the person.
